Good Morning

Good morning,
good morning
good morning to you

Good morning,
good morning.

We’ve danced the whole night through, good morning,
good morning to you

Good morning,
good morning.
It’s great to stay up late, good morning,
good morning to you

When the band began to play,
the stars were shining bright.
Now the milkman’s on his way.
It’s too late to say good night.
So good morning,
good morning.
Sunbeams will soon smile through, good morning,
good morning to you

Good morning,
good morning.
We’ve danced the whole night through,
good morning to you

Good morning,
good morning.
It’s great to stay up late, good morning,
good morning to you______

When the band began to play,
the stars were shining bright.
Now the milkman’s on his way.
It’s too late to say good night.
*YAWN* Good night.
*NO* good morning,
good morning.
Sunbeams will soon shine through, good morning,
good morning to you_____
Good morning!

Shady Grove

Shady Grove!
Shady Grove!
Shady Grove my love!

Cheeks as red as a bloomin' rose,
eyes of the deepest brown, you are the darlin' of my heart
stay till the sun goes down

Shady Grove, my little love,
Shady Grove I know,
Shady Grove, my little love,
bound for the Shady Grove.

Shady Grove, my little love, standin' in the door,
Shoes and stockings in her hand and her little bare feet on the floor.

Shady Grove, my little love,
Shady Grove I know,
Shady Grove, my little love,
bound for the Shady Grove.
(Shady Grove, Shady Grove I know.
Shady Grove, I am bound for the Shady Grove)

*Clap Section*

Wished I had a fine big horse, corn to feed him on,
pretty little girl to stay at home
feed him when I'm gone.

Shady Grove, my little love,
Shady Grove I know,
Shady Grove, my little love,
bound for the Shady Grove.

Shady Grove, my little love,
Shady Grove I know,
Shady Grove, my little love,
bound for the Shady Grove.
(Shady Grove, Shady Grove I know.
Shady Grove, I am bound for the Shady Grove)

Bound for the Shady Grove(2x)

Shady Grove!
Shady Grove!
Shady Grove my love!

Follow the Drinking Gourd

When the sun goes back and the nighttime falls,
follow the drinking gourd.
When the stars come out and the first quail calls,
follow the drinking gourd.

Follow the drinking gourd,
follow the drinking gourd.
Well, the old man’s a waiting for to carry you to freedom,
follow the drinking gourd,
follow the drinking gourd.

Well, the banks of the river make a mighty good road,
follow the drinking gourd.
And the burden I’m a carryin’ is a heavy load,
follow the drinking gourd.

Follow the drinking gourd,
follow the drinking gourd.
Well, the old man’s a waiting for to carry you to freedom,
follow the drinking gourd,
follow the drinking gourd.

I got to run, for they comin’ after me,
follow the drinking gourd.
Big dipper lead to the land of the free,
follow the drinking gourd.

Follow the drinking gourd,
follow the drinking gourd.
Well, the old man’s a waiting for to carry you to freedom,
follow the drinking gourd,
follow the drinking gourd.

Ribbons in the Sky

After rain, after thunder, at the calming of the storm,
when the sun returns, shining brightly, colored ribbons start to form.

After the rain is done, look for a rainbow in the sun.
After the storm completely passes by,
look for a rainbow, ribbons in the sky.

Look for red,
look for orange,
look for yellow,
green, and blue.
Look for indigo,
look for violet,
every color, every hue.

After the rain is done, look for a rainbow in the sun.
After the storm completely passes by,
look for a rainbow, ribbons in the sky.
ribbons in the sky, ribbons in the sky
ribbons in the sky. ribbons in the sky.
Look for a rainbow, ribbons in the sky.

Out there on a trip

From here to a star.

Will know that it is true,

You can make another world

With what’s inside of you!
