You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch
You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch; You really are a heel.
You're as cuddly as a cactus, you're as charming as an eel. Mr. Grinch!
You're a bad banana with a
greasy black peel.
You're a monster, Mr. Grinch!
Your heart's an empty hole.
Your brain is full of spiders, you've got garlic in your soul!
Mr. Grinch!
I wouldn't touch you with a thirty-nine and one half-foot pole.
You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch!
You're a nasty-wasty skunk!
Your heart is full of unwashed socks, you soul is full of gunk,
Mr. Grinch
The three words that best describe you are as follows, and I quote:
Stink! Stank! Stunk!
You nauseate me, Mr. Grinch!
With a nauseous, super naus.
You're a crooked jerky jocky and you drive a crooked hoss,
Mr. Grinch!
You're a three-decker sauerkraut and toadstool sandwich...
with arsenic sauce!
Winter Wonderland
Sleighbells ring, are you listenin’?
In the lane, snow is glistenin’.
A beautiful sight, we’re happy tonight, walkin’ in a winter wonderland.
Gone away is the bluebird.
Here to stay is a new bird.
He sings a love song as we go along,
walkin’ in a winter wonderland.
In the meadow we can build a snowman,
then pretend that he is Parson Brown.
He’ll say, “Are you married?”
We’ll say, “No, man!”
But you can do the job when you’re in town!
Later on, Later on,
we’ll conspire,
as we dream as we dream
by the fire
to face unafraid, the plans that we made,
walkin’ in a winter wonderland.
We’re gonna build a snowman, We’re gonna build a snowman,
pretend that he’s a clown.
pretend that he’s a clown.
We’re gonna build a snowman, We’ll build a snowman,
but don’t knock him down,
don’t knock him down,
you better not, you better not,
don’t knock him down!
When it snows ain’t it thrillin’,
though your nose gets a chillin’?
We’ll frolic and play the Eskimo way,
walkin’ in a winter wonderland____
walkin’ in a winter wonder,
walkin’ in a winter wonderland
wonderland,
wonderland_____
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Sleighbells ring, are you listenin’
wonderland_____
jingle all the way
In the lane snow is glistenin’.
Seize the Day
Open the gates and seize the day.
Don’t be afraid and don’t delay.
Nothing can break us.
No one can make us give our rights away.
Arise and seize the day.

Now is the time to seize the day.
Now is the time to seize the day.
Send out the call and join the fray.
Send out the call and join the fray.
Wrong’s will be righted if we’re united.
Let us seize the day.

Friends of the friendless seize the day.
Friends of the friendless seize the day.
Raise up the torch and light the way.
Raise up the torch and light the way.
Proud and defiant we’ll slay the giant.
Let us seize the day.

Neighbor to neighbor,
Father to son.
One for all and all for one.

Open the gates and seize the day.
Open the gates and seize the day.
Don’t be afraid and don’t delay.
Don’t be afraid and don’t delay.
Nothing can break us.
No one can make us give our rights away.

Neighbor to neighbor,
Father to son.
One for all and all for one.
Neighbor to neighbor,
Father to son.
One for all and all for one.
One for all._________
All for one._________
Ode to Peace
Joyful, joyful, lift your voices
all creation everywhere.
Hearts and hands 'cross sea and land, come join us in our fervent prayer.
Every land and every nation,
strong and mighty, meek and mild,
help to build a world of peace for every woman man and child.
We sing proudly in unity
one heart, one voice, one mind.
We're all sharing a common dream of peace and love for humankind.
Every nation, all creation come share the dream we're dreaming of.
And side by side 'cross oceans wide we'll build a world of peace and love.
Joyful, joyful, lift your voices
all creation everywhere.
Hearts and hands 'cross sea and land,
come join us in our fervent prayer.
Every land and every nation,
strong and mighty, meek and mild,
help to build a world of peace
for every woman man and child.

Jingle Bell Rock
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock,
jingle bell swing and jingle bells ring,
snowin' and blowin' up bushels of fun,
now the jingle hop has begun.
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock,
jingle bells chime in jingle bell time,
dancin' and prancin' in Jingle bell Square
in the frosty air.
What a bright time, it's the right time to rock the night away.
Jingle bell time is a swell time
to go glidin' in a one horse sleigh
Giddyap, jingle horse, pick up your feet,
jingle around the clock.
Mix and mingle in a jinglin' beat.
that's the jingle bell rock.
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock,

Duke's Place
Come on, take me down to Duke’s Place.
Hippest joint in town is Duke’s Place.
Love that piano sound in Dukes Place.
Saxes blow their riffs in Duke’s Place.
Drummers hit their kicks in Duke’s Place.
Come on! Your Jazz fix is Duke’s Place.
You find yourself a seat, and if you wanna eat,
you look for someone who might be the waiter.
He fills your cup with dreams
that only can come from here.
“And where is that?” you ask.
Well I would think it’s perfectly clear.
First come the trombones;
they’re in the mood.
They keep on slidin’
and they set the groove.
Their sound is silky and it’s smooth.
The saxes begin and they blow the roof in
All around.
And right from the start
you can tell they’re the heart
of the sound.
They blow and then they all get down.
Trumpets blow it from the top.
They hit the notes that cannot stop.
They’re cool ‘cause they can play be-bop!
You’re headin’ for the door,
the crowd is yellin’ “More!”
And then you think that maybe you’ll leave later.
And they won’t clear the room
until they have stopped the sound.
And when it starts again
You will be the first to come ‘round
If you’ve never been to Duke’s Place. (why you waitin’! )
Take your sweetie down to Duke’s Place. (No hesitatin’)
Now you’ve found your spot: it’s Duke’s Place.
You’ve got to go!
The Star Spangled Banner
Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
