You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch

You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch; You really are a heel.

You're as cuddly as a cactus, you're as charming as an eel. Mr. Grinch!

You're a bad banana with a

greasy black peel.

You're a monster, Mr. Grinch!

Your heart's an empty hole.

Your brain is full of spiders, you've got garlic in your soul!

Mr. Grinch!

I wouldn't touch you with a thirty-nine and one half-foot pole.

You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch!

You're a nasty-wasty skunk!

Your heart is full of unwashed socks, you soul is full of gunk,

Mr. Grinch

The three words that best describe you are as follows, and I quote:

Stink! Stank! Stunk!

You nauseate me, Mr. Grinch!

With a nauseous, super naus.

You're a crooked jerky jocky and you drive a crooked hoss,

Mr. Grinch!

You're a three-decker sauerkraut and toadstool sandwich...

with arsenic sauce!

Hello, Goodbye - Beatles Medley

You say yes, I say no,
You say stop, and I say go, go, go
Oh no.
You say goodbye, and I say hello,
Hello, hello.
I don’t know why you say goodbye, I say hello
Hello, hello.
I don’t know why you say goodbye, I say hello

I think I’m gonna be sad.
I think it’s today, yeah!
The girl that’s driving me mad, is going away.

She’s got a ticket to ride,
She’s got a ticket to ride,
She’s got a ticket to ride,
But she don’t care.
I don’t know why she’s ridin’ so high,
She ought to think right; she ought to do right by me.
Before she gets to saying goodbye
She ought to think twice, she ought to do right by me.
I think I’m gonna be sad.
I think it’s today, yeah!
The girl that’s driving me mad, is going away.

She’s got a ticket to ride,
She’s got a ticket to ride,
She’s got a ticket to ride,
But she don’t care.

Penny Lane there is a barber showing photographs
Of every head he’s had the pleasure to know.
And all the people that come and go, stop and say hello.
On the corner is a banker with a motorcar,
And little children laugh at him behind his back.
And the banker never wears a mac in the pouring rain, very strange.
Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes,
There beneath the blue suburban skies I sit and meanwhile back,
Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes,
There beneath the blue suburban skies
Penny Lane.

I’ll buy you a diamond ring my friend, if it makes you feel alright.
I’ll get you anything my friend, if it makes you feel alright.
I don’t care too
Much for money,
Money can’t buy me love
Can’t buy me love
Everybody tells me so.
Can’t buy me love
No no no no!

Say you don’t need no diamond rings
And I’ll be satisfied.
Tell me that you want the kind of things that money just can’t buy.
I don’t care too
Much for money,
Money can’t buy me love.
Can’t buy me love
love.
Can’t buy me love
No no no no!
Can’t buy me love
Love.
Can’t buy me love,
No no no,
No no no,
No no no no!
Can’t buy me love,
Love!

Once Upon a December

Dancing bears,
painted wings
Things I almost remember,
And a song someone sings
once upon a December

Someone holds me safe and warm,
horses prance through a silver storm,
Figures dancing gracefully,
across my memory,

Mm___
Ah___
Someone holds me safe and warm,
horses prance through a silver storm,
Figures dancing gracefully,
across my memory,

Far away, long ago
glowing dim as an ember,
things my heart used to know,
things it yearns to remember,
and a song someone sings
Once upon (breathe)
a Decembe(r)

Oh Shenandoah

Oh Shenando', I long to see you, away, you rolling river.
Oh Shenando', I long to see you,
away, I'm bound away
'cross the wide Missouri.

Oh Shenando', I long to hear you, away, you rolling river.
Oh Shenando', I long to hear you, away, I'm bound away,
'cross the wide Missouri
.

Oh Shenando', I'm bound to leave you,
away, you rolling river.
Oh Shenando', I'm bound to leave you,
away, I'm bound away,
'cross the wide Missouri.

Oh Shenando',
I'm bound away________

It's Time For Hanukkah

It’s time to light the menorah,

Adding a candle each night.

And it’s time to spin the dreidel and sing our favorite songs in the dancing candle light.

It’s time for sharing the presents (time to share the presents,)

Bringing to all much delight (bringing much delight)

And it’s time to be with family, and friends that gather ’round,

When we celebrate eight nights!

Hanukkah, oh Hanukkah,

Light the menorah.

Let’s have a party,

We’ll all dance the hora.

Gather ’round the table,

We’ll all have a treat.

Sivivon to play with,

Latkes to eat.

Light the candles (light the candles)

Spin the dreidel (spin the dreidel)

Bringing so much delight (So much delight)

At the Beginning

We were strangers, starting out on a journey
Never dreaming, what we'd have to go through
Now here we are, and I'm suddenly standing
At the beginning with you

No one told me, I was going to find you
Unexpected, what you did to my heart
When I lost hope, you were there to remind me
This is the start

And life is a road that I wanna keep going
Love is a river, I wanna keep flowing
Life is a road, now and forever, wonderful journey
I'll be there when the world stops turning
I'll be there when the storm is through
In the end I wanna be standing
At the beginning with you

We were strangers, on a crazy adventure
Never dreaming, how our dreams would come true
Now here we stand, unafraid of the future
At the beginning with you
And life is a road that I wanna keep going
Love is a river, I wanna keep flowing
Life is a road, now and forever, wonderful journey
I'll be there when the world stops turning
I'll be there when the storm is through
In the end I wanna be standing
At the beginning with you

I knew there was somebody, somewhere
like me alone in the dark
Now I know my dream will live on
I've been waiting so long
Nothing's gonna tear us apart

And life is a road that I wanna keep going
Love is a river, I wanna keep flowing
Life is a road, now and forever, wonderful journey
I'll be there when the world stops turning
I'll be there when the storm is through
In the end I wanna be standing
At the beginning with you

Life is a road that I wanna keep going
Love is a river, I wanna keep going on_____
Starting out on a journey

Life is a road that I wanna keep going
Love is a river, I wanna keep flowing
In the end I wanna be standing
At the beginning….
with you

Jingle Bell Rock

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock,
jingle bell swing and jingle bells ring,
snowin' and blowin' up bushels of fun,
now the jingle hop has begun.

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock,
jingle bells chime in jingle bell time,
dancin' and prancin' in Jingle bell Square
in the frosty air.

What a bright time, it's the right time to rock the night away.
Jingle bell time is a swell time
to go glidin' in a one horse sleigh

Giddyap, jingle horse, pick up your feet,
jingle around the clock.
Mix and mingle in a jinglin' beat.
that's the jingle bell rock.

Duke's Place

Come on, take me down to Duke’s Place.

Hippest joint in town is Duke’s Place.

Love that piano sound in Dukes Place.

Saxes blow their riffs in Duke’s Place.

Drummers hit their kicks in Duke’s Place.

Come on! Your Jazz fix is Duke’s Place.

You find yourself a seat, and if you wanna eat,

you look for someone who might be the waiter.

He fills your cup with dreams

that only can come from here.

“And where is that?” you ask.

Well I would think it’s perfectly clear.

First come the trombones;

they’re in the mood.

They keep on slidin’

and they set the groove.

Their sound is silky and it’s smooth.

The saxes begin and they blow the roof in

All around.

And right from the start

you can tell they’re the heart

of the sound.

They blow and then they all get down.

Trumpets blow it from the top.

They hit the notes that cannot stop.

They’re cool ‘cause they can play be-bop!

You’re headin’ for the door,

the crowd is yellin’ “More!”

And then you think that maybe you’ll leave later.

And they won’t clear the room

until they have stopped the sound.

And when it starts again

You will be the first to come ‘round

If you’ve never been to Duke’s Place. (why you waitin’! )

Take your sweetie down to Duke’s Place. (No hesitatin’)

Now you’ve found your spot: it’s Duke’s Place.

You’ve got to go!

The Star Spangled Banner

Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?

And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
