The Kindergarten music program focuses on helping children internalize musical concepts and build a common repertoire by exploring and discovering their singing voices and motor skills.

 

 

Kindergarten music students will:

 

• Distinguish between a speaking and singing voice.

 

• Sing age-appropriate songs from memory.

 

• Differentiate between high/low, fast/slow, loud/soft, beat/rhythm.

 

• Play singing games from various cultures.

 

• Move to live and recorded music.​

• Play pitched and non-pitched instruments to the beat and rhythm.
