The Transitional Kindergarten music program focuses on introducing musical concepts and building a common repertoire by exploring and discovering their singing voices and motor skills with substantial guidance.

 

 

Kindergarten music students will:

 

• Distinguish between a speaking and singing voice.

 

• Sing age-appropriate songs with the help of the teacher.

 

• Differentiate between high/low, fast/slow, loud/soft with the help of the teacher.

• Play singing games from various cultures.

 

• Move to live and recorded music.​

• Explore and play pitched and non-pitched instruments.
